My Daily Hair Hero

Thursday, August 21, 2014

I found out this week that EtailPR have approved my blog - how exciting! Lets celebrate with a well deserving post dedicated to my daily hair hero..

Hairtrade.com have a fantastic range of haircare products, all of my usual products and a lot on there that I have been wanting to try, the prices are below RRP too which is a bonus! Its worth keeping an eye on the site as they have a fantastic weekly deal on offer - even giving a sneak preview of what is coming up soon..(I have got my eye on Paul Mitchells Curls Ultimate Wave!) They also have a range of my favourite hairbrushes, the Tangle Teezer range.

I have mid-long length hair, and after years of bleaching, it isn't in the best condition, so I am always looking for a hair rescue remedy. I no longer bleach my hair but I do have a dip dye so the ends are lightened, so prone to splitting and, my worst nightmare..tangling! Really, I am the epitome of 'hat' or 'bed' hair, and it doesn't look sexy.

(On my nails are Sally Hansen Peach Beach, Barry M Rose Quartz Glitter, Barry M Pink Sapphire Glitter, and a little bit of Barry M Pink Iridescent)

Tangle Teezer Compact Styler - Gold Fever

I was recommended the Tangle Teezer by a friend and my main reason for buying one was (as I am easily swayed by pretty/tacky/patterned/brightly coloured objects) the look and design of it. I must admit I did buy it as just another pretty thing to throw in my handbag, but its actually more than that.

But its just a hairbrush! Yeah, it is a hairbrush, I cant argue with that but I have a few reasons why I think its great..
  • It is designed to fit snugly in your hand, giving you control over how much pressure you use when running it through your hair, I find this super helpful especially with my aforementioned knot prone hair.
  • The small size and protective cover make it perfect to keep in your bag for on the go, without getting attached to everything else in there.
  • It looks fancy, and there are so many different designs to choose from to suit your personality.

"Armed with Compact Styler you will be ready to handle all the hair spoilers of the day. Refresh and revive your distressed wind blown locks in one of two quick easy brush strokes. It smoothes, defines and shines - just like lip gloss for your hair."
